The band's line-up of boy and girl lead vocals, a four-piece rhythm section, plus comprehensive backing vocals and a four-piece brass section, enables Chapter Eight to faithfully recreate almost any style of music. Chapter Eight is best known for its repertoire of "floor-fillers" from the likes of Robbie Williams, Ricky Martin, Shania Twain, Abba, the Glorias (Gaynor and Estefan), Take That, Van Morrison, the B52s, The Communards, Tom Jones, Tina Turner and S-Club. The disco days of the 70s are brought to life with the music of The Village People, The Real Thing, Rose Royce, Stevie Wonder, KC & The Sunshine Band and the Gibson Brothers to name but a few. Sets from The Commitments, The Blues Brothers, Saturday Night Fever and Grease are also very popular and regularly form part of the band's play list. Song from the Sixties, 1950s Rock and Roll plus the music of the post war era with Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole also make frequent appearances. And if you want to relive, or even experience for the first time the music of the 1940s, Chapter Eight's line-up easily copes with the great tunes from the orchestras of Glenn Miller, Ted Heath and Tommy Dorsey - in fact, name the music you like and Chapter Eight probably has something to suit. If you require a particular song for your event, within reason, the band is able to do this but if however your specific choice is not in the band's standard repertoire, with sufficient notice and for a small additional fee, the band will arrange the song especially for your event. The band's inclusive fee includes a high quality PA system and sound sensitive dance floor lighting. Chapter Eight is also happy to provide recorded background music during the event.
